Group Services

Group services bring together children with similar goals and interests, building your child’s social network, sense of community, and providing the opportunity to practice social skills in a supported safe space.

The ultimate goal of group services it is to create a positive experience where children learn about themselves and develop the skills needed to advocate for their needs.

Sensory Regulation Groups

Social Group

By encouraging understanding, self-expression, and mutual respect, these groups are aimed at fostering a sense of community and belonging. Sonder therapy offers a safe and supported environment where your child can build social connections, confidence and meaningful relationships while being accepted by their peers. Themes of these groups change.

Length: 6 weeks

Regulation Groups

Through the development of interoception skills, your child will learn to recognize their body cues and connect those cues to their emotions or energy state. Participants will explore sensory-motor strategies that help them to self-regulate, and build advocacy skills so they can tell teachers, parents, and other adults what they need. (This group combines our Discoverers and Explorers groups)

Length: 6 weeks

Martial Arts

In collaboration with Hybrid Training Academy, participants will engage in high-energy activities that include strength and conditioning, kickboxing, and self-defence.  

Length: 6 weeks

Social Optics

This unique eight-week program is offered individually, as a group program, as well as online through virtual services. Social optics is designed to support teens to better understand neurodiverse communications and how to navigate social interactions in a neurotypical world.

This group is best suited for teens ages 14-18 who can participate in group discussions.

Length: 8 weeks
